Planet Crasis: Bronze Blades - Resumption!
Pursuant to my last post Bronze Blades is kicking off again this Friday night!
If you’re new to the game, here’s the TL;DR on rolling up a character, but do read the player’s guide which includes notes on creating characters, the game setting and some houserules in play.
- New characters start with 9455 experience points before prime req bonuses - this is half the amount awarded to existing PCs thus far (and equal to their henchmen’s - i.e. replacement PC - tallies). If your new character wishes to bring one henchman, it starts with 4728 experience points, or you can recruit in game.
- 4d6 drop lowest, arrange to taste, scrap “useless characters”.
- All races/classes OK (it’s the Chaos Lands after all).
- If your choice is traditionally evil you do not have to be.
- Demihuman class and level restrictions are lifted.
- Humans get OSE Advanced pg 78 benefits to compensate:
- +1 CHA, +1 CON.
- (“Blessed”) when rolling hit points, roll twice, choose best.
- (“Decisiveness”) when initiative is tied, humans act as if they had won initiative.
- (“Leadership”) all of a human’s retainers and mercenaries gain a +1 bonus to loyalty and morale.
- Max hit points at first level.
- Dead at -10.
- Using ascending armour class.
- B/X or OSE Basic (same thing) or OSE Advanced characters.
- Not using Secondary Skills or Weapon Proficiency in OSE Advanced.
- Three point alignment, plus: mysteries.
